Hitech Lab - Mozhigal (Language Lab) - Implementation in Government Schools - SPD Proceedings

The School Education Department of Tamil Nadu has established student facing language labs for Classes 6 to 8 named Mozhigal. The Mozhigal language lab is a self-paced learning platform for students to explore digital interactive content in their computers. The objective of Mozhigal (language lab) Programme is to supplement school English periods with exposure to interactive digital Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing activities.

The Mozhigal (language lab) Programme will be implemented in 6,029 Hi-Tech labs which have been established in Government High and Higher Secondary Schools from 21.06.2024 for Class 6 - 8 students. 6,029 Hi-Tech Labs which situated in the Government High and Higher Secondary Schools have been supplemented with headsets and splitters to enable the same.
