WHEREAS an enquiry into grave charges against Thiru TC.Thomson District Educational Officer (Elementary), Kanniyakumari District is contemplated.

And WHEREAS in the circumstances of the case, it is necessary in the public interest to place the said Thiru.T.C.Thomson, District Educational Officer (Elementary), Kanniyakumari District under suspension from service and the reason for such suspension cannot be furnished in the larger public interest

Now Therefore, under sub-rule (e) of 17 of the Tamil Nadu Civil Services (Disciplinary and Appeal) rules, the said Thiru.T.C. Thomson, District Educational Officer (Elementary) Kanniyakumari District is with immediate effect, placed under suspension of service, until further orders, deemed to have been suspended from service with effect from the date of detention Le 29.04.2024, until further orders

During the period of suspension, the said Thiru.T.C. Thomson, District Educational Officer (Elementary), Kanniyakumari District will be paid Subsistence Allowance and Deamess Allowance as admissible under Rule 53 (1) of Fundamental Rules

The headquarters of the said Thiru T.C. Thomson, District Educational Officer (Elementary), Kanniyakumari District during the period of suspension shall be at Nagercoil and the said Thiru TC. Thomson shall not leave the headquarters without obtaining the prior permission of the authority concerned
