ORDER : Whereas on considering the recommendations of the expert team of the Doctors and Public Health Specialists and based on the directives of Government of India , Ministry of Home Affairs , State - wide lockdown was extended from time to time and lastly extended till 24.00 hours of 31.03.2021 under the Disaster Management Act , 2005 in G.O. ( Ms ) . No.318 , Revenue and Disaster Management ( DM - IV ) Department , dated : 28.02.2021 .
2. In the G.O. 1 " read above , following the Standard Operating Procedures , Final year Classes for all Colleges / Universities including Arts , Science , Technical , Engineering , Agriculture , Fisheries , Veterinary Colleges were permitted to function from 07.12.2020 . Further , Hostels for the above college students were also permitted .
3.In the G.O. 2nd read above , following the Standard Operating Procedure , all Under Graduate and Post Graduate Classes ( including Diploma Classes ) in all Colleges / Universities including Arts , Science , Technical Engineering , Agriculture , Fisheries , Veterinary Colleges were permitted to function from 08.02.2021 . Further Hostels for the above students were also be permitted .
4. As there is an increase in the spread of COVID - 19 infection , a meeting was held with the Vice - Chancellors of the all Universities under the aegis of Higher Education Department , the Director of Technical Education and the Director of Collegiate Education on 22.03.2021
